What Is Mediation And Conflict Resolution?
|
|
Mediation is a process of alternative dispute resolution
by which a trained neutral third party can
assist disputing parties to find agreement. This is done
person to person, without either party resorting to
adversarial means, such as litigation.
|
 |
|
Mediation, as a tool to provide conflict resolution,
is becoming widely used to solve many types of
disputes-conflicts between employees and employers,
business partners, consumers and service providers and commercial
contractors, as well as within community organizations, churches,
neighborhoods and families.
